Welcome to Absolute Gaming
Absolute Gaming was founded in November 2009 with a simple idea — bring like-minded gamers together and give them something worth coming back to. Sixteen years later, we're still going strong, and we'd back our setup against anything else you'll find online.
We're primarily an EA FC and Formula 1 competitive community, running leagues, tournaments and events for players on Xbox and PlayStation. Alongside the competition, we've built a genuine community — one with its own culture, banter, and history.
EA FC Leagues
EA FC is at the heart of what we do. We run three divisions — Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3 — each with 13–14 players, full promotion and relegation, and fixtures every six days throughout the season. Every fixture is a double header, home and away against your opponent.
We also run three cup competitions. The Champions League features a handicap system that levels the playing field across divisions, running through group stages before splitting into Champions League and Europa League paths ahead of the knockout rounds. Then there's the Divisional Cup — a straight knockout between teams in your division — and the League Cup, which is open to all teams across the leagues.
Your Franchise
At the start of each season, you purchase a Franchise — the foundation of your squad. From there, you'll buy, sell and swap players throughout the season, shaping your formation and style as you go.
Transfers
The leagues run on a fantasy basis, meaning your squad is built from players of varied ratings drawn from different leagues. The transfer market is one of the most enjoyable parts of the experience — deals are done by swapping players, or trading them alongside scudo, our in-game currency. You earn scudo by fulfilling fixtures, with your matchday fee offset by your players' wages.
Auctions & Raffles
Every week during the season there's usually a raffle for a higher-rated player, with tickets available to all members. There's also a weekly BFA Auction, where the League Commissioner — who doesn't play in the league himself, keeping things independent — puts up around eight players to bid on. Public auctions close at 8pm sharp; miss the deadline and you'll be fined. Blind auctions add another layer, with managers submitting private bids and the results revealed afterwards. Let's just say the reactions when someone massively overbids on an uncontested player are always entertaining.
F1 Leagues
Alongside EA FC, we run competitive Formula 1 leagues for members who want to get behind the wheel. Same setup — structured seasons, competitive racing, and the same community around it.
Community Events
Throughout the week we run one-night community events across a variety of games — EA FC, Formula 1, TGC Golf, Call of Duty and more. Events are a great way to meet the community, stay active between seasons, and just have a good time. Check our gaming calendar for what's coming up.

The Absolute Gaming podcast has been running for over 120 episodes and shows no signs of slowing down. We cover everything from league results, transfer gossip and cup drama to wider EA FC and F1 topics, with members and guests dropping in along the way. How Do I Get Involved?
Head to our forums and register an account — it takes seconds and it's completely free. Once you're in, introduce yourself in the Introduce Yourself forum and get a feel for the place.
If you want a league spot, post your interest in the Join Our League forum. We take our leagues seriously, so places go to active members. Get involved in events and forum life and you'll demonstrate exactly that. If the waiting list is full, we also run a Reserve League to keep things ticking over while you wait.
